Mission
The Parent Teacher Organization’s
(PTO) mission is to establish a close relationship between home and
school by advancing opportunities for all parents to become involved in
the school community. It is our belief that the team effort of a
parent-teacher organization contributes to the best possible learning
environment for our children.
Activities
Through
the combined efforts of home and school, the PTO will continually
strive to sponsor activities and provide resources that will enhance the
students’ physical, mental, and social growth. The PTO provides
assistance to the teachers when needed, raises funds for supplemental
educational materials and experiences, as well as supporting school,
family, and community social interaction. PTO sponsored activities
include the Gingerbread House, Halloween Parade and Party, Valentine
Party, Teacher Appreciation Week, Wish List, Spring Fling, and
Conservation Camp.
